I'm here!

Well, hello there. I would like to say hello to everyone out there who reads this. More specifically to Rhys, possibly Horse, and my brother Connor. I should've posted something earlier, but I was at this concert with my friend Julia in San Francisco. Julia sings songs on the internet and she is a relatively famous via YouTube.  As I found out in San Francisco there are a lot of relatively famous YouTube celebrities. Most of them stayed in our hotel too. This was the weirdest part of the whole trip. People would come up to people they had never met before and talk to them as though they knew each other for years. I have no problem talking to people about any subject, at anytime, in anyplace. That being said, I think it's a little weird and pretty creepy how people who watch each others videos over the internet think that they are best friends when they meet in person. Other than that though, it was a pretty awesome trip. I got to stand next to people like will.i.am, Akon, Soulja Boy Tell Em, Wade Johnston, and Katy Perry.
I also met MC Hammer, and by "met" I mean saw the shell of a man MC Hammer has become. I can still vividly remember the day I got the Hammer tape, yeah, the cassette tape. It was a crisp day, the sun was shining, but no one on my little street deep in the heart of Rochester, NY was awake yet. No one was witnessing a certain proud young boy wearing an eye patch (because I had a lazy eye) riding up and down his street on a huffy 10-speed, one arm steering the bicycle masterfully, the other arm stuffed inside an Orlando Magic starter jacket. Those were the days. I might have even been wearing my overalls backwards. Anyway, Hammer now looks more like Brian Dawkins than the beloved, parachute pants wearing man I used to idolize. I think even Joan Rivers has aged more gracefully.
That being said, the concert was pretty sweet. You can watch clips or the whole thing here. Now, I would like to prepare you for something that is going to happen every wednesday from here until I run out of things to think about while pooping.
So, I have this aunt who was friends with this guy. One time my aunt was house sitting for said guy when we were visiting my grandma, who lives near my aunt. This is all important because during our visit to my grandma's house, my aunt took us over to the guy's house where we took his dogs for a walk. Not only did we explore every crevice of his house while we were there, we also discovered a hidden treasure in his bathroom....the entire collection of penthouse magazines from 1991-1993. Also in that bathroom was a journal that he and his roommate (who I believe was also his brother) kept while they pooped. In this was anything and everything they thought about while they squeezed out their daily brown stuff. That happened when I was 8 or so and the memory has stuck with me forever. During my sophomore year at college I shared a suite (1209 in the Little Building) with some of my favorite gentlemen I had met at school so far (Teddy being one of them). I decided the time was right to break out the poop journal idea and it worked beautifully. Luckily our bathroom was a place to hang out in, with the trendy rug, cable TV, and the blue "Boston Red Sox" stenciled tuba and all.

So, every wednesday I will be debuting a page, snippit, or whatever from the poop journal until it's done. I have started another poop thought book that will hopefully be as successful as the last, we can only hope though, huh? Also, I don't know if you care or not, but I think everyone should subscribe to Paul "Fitzy" Fitzgerald on youtube. He has taken over where Bill Simmon's left off. Simmon's has lost his edge anyway. I hate to say it, but sometimes he has to think about what his kids will think when they read his columns in the future. Fitzy doesnt have that silly thought. It's not an insult to Simmons, I love the guy. He's what got me through getting laid off 6 weeks after I started my first job. The podcasts were great,a nd I even bought his first book so that I could have something to do. Sadly, but surely, he has lost it. Fitzy is still raw, awesome, and from Boston. Check it out.
